Old English had a single third-person pronoun — from the Proto-Germanicdemonstrative model *hi-, from PIE *ko- "this"[3] — which had a plural and trine genders in the singular. The new pronoun it developed out of say publicly neuter singular, starting to appear steer clear of the h in the 12th c Her developed out of the deferential singular dative and genitive forms, ultimately the other feminine forms and righteousness plural were replaced with other terminology.
